Larry, Larry, Larry, Larry (only you will get this beginning), How privileged I was to share an oral space with you in Old Main in my early days in the department, as I got to hear how generous,wise, kind and patient you were with everyone- faculty, professionals and students alike. I have so valued our friendship and collegiality over the years. You were always the quintessential philosopher in the best sense- precise, thoughtful, ethical and humorous-all of which made you wise beyond the norm.
