I taught with Larry when I was an adjunct, finishing my PhD. Adjuncts often don't get much respect but my colleagues at SUNY Cortland, including and especially Larry, never fit that mold. Larry was kind and funny, and though I didn't get to know him well in my short time at Cortland, I have pleasant memories of talks in his office. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues, because I know how much you've lost.
